The Green Talent Parallel Forum & 2026 Global Talent Summit will be held on September 18, 2026, as a featured parallel session of the Beijing Green Development Forum, taking place in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center.
Co-hosted by the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations (AGTO) and the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), the forum is themed “Green Talent Competitiveness in the AI Era: Green Skills and Green Leadership.”
Addressing the widening structural gap between green job growth and talent supply, the forum will convene leading academics, green development experts, diplomats, international organizations, think tanks, universities, multinational companies, and non-profit organizations. Participants will exchange insights on green talent development, international cooperation, capacity building, and practical pathways to cultivate the skills needed for the green transition.

About the Beijing Green Development Forum 2026
The Beijing Green Development Forum 2026 will be held on September 17–18 in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center under the theme “Green Empowerment, Low-Carbon Symbiosis.” Anchored in Beijing’s strategic positioning and guided by the principles of internationalization, industrial development, and public engagement, the forum serves as an international platform integrating idea exchange, technology commercialization, and industrial cooperation.
The forum features an opening ceremony and main plenary, multiple parallel sessions, and industry promotion events, alongside the International Green Industry (Beijing) Expo and the Urban Low-Carbon Lifestyle Festival. It will bring together Nobel laureates, representatives of international cities, and industry leaders for keynote speeches, high-level dialogues, deliverable announcements, and project signing ceremonies to chart pathways for green transformation. The forum is committed to zero-carbon event management, setting a benchmark for end-to-end carbon neutrality, and with a “never-ending forum” concept, will run year-round activities, contributing Chinese solutions and Beijing’s experience to global climate governance and sustainable development.
About AGTO
As an idea incubated at the Paris Peace Forum, the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations (AGTO) is an international, non-governmental organization dedicated to facilitating and promoting the global flow of talent. Initiated by the Center for China & Globalization (CCG) and supported by academic institutions, civil society, and the private sector, AGTO aims to establish an international platform for promoting global governance innovation on talent flow.
