The 2025 Global Young Leaders Annual Dialogue will be held on 19 November. This year’s forum, themed “Decoding the Future with Young Mind” will bring together senior experts and representatives from leading tech enterprises around the world for in-depth discussions on topics including “Young Leaders’ Solutions: AI and Technology Addressing Global Challenges,” “Young Leaders’ Strategies: Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems,” and “The Future Landscape of ‘AI+’ and International Cooperation.”

The forum is jointly shaped by young leaders from different countries and diverse backgrounds, aiming to foster intellectual exchange, technological collaboration, and innovative practice among global youth. Since its inception, the event has attracted young diplomats, policymakers, scholars, researchers, social innovators, and entrepreneurial leaders from across the globe. Last year, the 2024 Dialogue brought together 150 experts, young talents, and media representatives from nearly 50 countries.
This year, nearly 300 young applicants from more than 50 countries and regions applied, marking a 114% increase from last year. After a rigorous selection process, 25 outstanding young leaders were chosen. They will gather at the Annual Dialogue to join senior international guests in exploring how youth can leverage technological innovation to address global challenges.
01 Professions
This year’s Global Young Leaders Dialogue brings together a diverse cohort that includes founders of AI-focused tech startups and managers of technology communities, advisors from government bodies , researchers from renowned think tanks, as well as young scholars from leading universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Yonsei University, and Renmin University of China.
Together, they represent a vibrant cross-section of global youth leadership, bringing fresh insights and forward-looking ideas to the Dialogue.
02 Countries
The 25 young leaders come from 21 countries, reflecting the Dialogue’s strong commitment to diversity and global perspectives.
03 Gender
Next, let’s take a look at the gender distribution:
Among this year’s participants, 60.71% are male and 39.29% are female. Compared with previous years, female participation has once again increased, showing a more balanced overall gender structure.
04 Age
As for age distribution, the structure is as follows:
A total of 53.85% of participants are between 30 and 35, while 23.08% fall within the 25–30 age range. Overall, this year’s cohort demonstrates a dynamic blend of professional maturity and youthful energy.
From data points to personal stories, from diverse backgrounds to shared aspirations, these young leaders will bring fresh perspectives and inspiration through their global vision and concrete actions. We look forward to the innovative ideas they will share at the forum, the practical experiences they will contribute from around the world, and the collective exploration of how youth—standing at the intersection of technological advancement and global challenges—can help decode the future with wisdom and responsibility.
