On May 26, 2026, CCG will host an International Talent Exchange Seminar, inviting domestic and international scholars, education professionals, international youth representatives, and media representatives to engage in in-depth discussions on topics including international education cooperation, global talent mobility, and cross-cultural narratives.
The seminar will feature two major sessions:
1) CCG Global Dialogue on “U.S.-China Educational Cooperation: Trends and Challenges,” and
2) a book launch symposium for Witnessing China’s Modernization.
An evening reception will also be held following the seminar, inviting guests and participants to socialize freely.
The CCG Global Dialogue titled “U.S.-China Educational Cooperation: Trends and Challenges” will feature Professor Denis Simon, Chair of the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations (AGTO), who will provide a systematic analysis and insights into the latest developments, practical challenges, and future opportunities in China-U.S. educational cooperation. He will also engage in dialogue with Dr Henry Huiyao Wang, Founder and President of CCG. The session aims to build a multi-stakeholder platform for dialogue on international education and talent mobility while deepening understanding of changes in the global landscape.
The book launch event for Witnessing China’s Modernization will invite the book’s editor, contributors, and scholars to engage in discussions on mutual understanding and learning in international people-to-people exchange. The book brings together firsthand experiences from 18 international authors who have lived, worked, or traveled in China, presenting authentic observations and personal reflections on China’s social development through diverse narratives. Contributors include economists, anthropologists, senior professionals, and young researchers, who share perspectives on issues such as human rights improvement, gender equality, education and youth development, infrastructure and public service construction, and the enhancement of people’s well-being.

Introduction of Witnessing China’s Modernization
As the global landscape continues to evolve, China’s development practices have attracted growing attention and discussion from around the world. Beyond grand narratives and abstract concepts, firsthand observations and lived experiences are becoming an important lens through which China is understood.
Against this backdrop, CCG’s new book Witnessing China’s Modernization: Understanding People-Centered Philosophy, Quality of Life and Overall Well-Being Improvement from Global Perspectives has been recently published by Cam Rivers Publishing. Moving from “witnessing” to “understanding,” the volume brings together the firsthand accounts of 18 international contributors who have lived, worked, or traveled in China. Through their diverse perspectives, the book presents a nuanced view of China’s development and the lived realities behind its rapid transformation.
Through vivid writing, the book deepens understanding of China’s development and future trajectory. Its contributing authors—ranging from economists and anthropologists to professionals and graduate students—bring diverse, cross-cultural perspectives that highlight China’s people-centered development philosophy and examine key areas such as human rights, gender equality, education and youth development, infrastructure, public services, and overall well-being. The book portrays China not as an isolated phenomenon but as a catalyst for rethinking development, cooperation, and shared human progress.
