Join Jeppe Kofod, former Danish Foreign Minister and Member of the European Parliament, for an in-depth dialogue with Dr. Henry Wang Huiyao, President of CCG, Distinguished Professor of China Foreign Affairs University, Former Counselor to China State Council, on the future of EU-China relations.
With over 25 years of experience in international diplomacy, including key roles in EU-China negotiations, Arctic policy, and energy security, Kofod will provide unique insights into the forces shaping the global order seen from Europe and their implications for China. Jeppe Kofod
In May 2023, Jeppe Kofod founded his own consultancy firm, leveraging his professional background and network to help companies create value and navigate the complexities of geopolitics and security. He contribute as a Board Chairman, Board Director, and Thought Leader, offering data-driven advisory services, strategy development, public affairs services, communication and presentations.
As a former Minister for Foreign Affairs and a senior member of both the European and Danish Parliaments, he bring over 25 years of political experience, providing deep insights and a strong international, EU, and national network. His expertise spans geopolitics, energy transition, national security, trade policy, foreign affairs, health, and innovative technologies. He have a strong experience with public-private partnerships, legislative and regulatory affairs at national and EU-level.
Henry Huiyao Wang
Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang is Founder and President of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and Distinguished Professor of China Foreign Affairs University. He was a Counselor to China’s State Council. He is a Vice Chairman of China Association for International Economic Cooperation (CAIEC) under the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), Vice Chairman, China Talent Research Society under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. He is also Vice Chairman of China Public Relations Association; a Director of Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs and a Director of China National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation, both organizations under the supervision of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Dr. Wang is a Steering Committee Member of Paris Peace Forum and was an Advising Board Member for International Organization of Migration (IOM) of the UN. He was a Visiting Fellow at The Brookings Institution, a Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and a Senior Fellow at Asia-Pacific Foundation of Canada.
