The book offers an extensive exploration of the fundamental challenges confronting Chinese enterprises as they venture into the global arena, providing practical solutions to address a wide spectrum of issues. It comprehensively addresses the multifaceted challenges faced by Chinese firms expanding abroad, from legal complexities and legislative matters to international talent cultivation and financing. Furthermore, it also delves into the opportunities and potential created for these enterprises through the Belt and Road Initiative.
These insights aim to furnish readers with a deeper understanding of the current landscape of overseas development for Chinese enterprises. The book serves as an invaluable reference for Chinese businesses seeking diverse foreign investment strategies, enabling them to seize opportunities, navigate challenges, and take their global development to new heights.
This ongoing series of English books is built upon the extensive research presented in CCG's series of 'Blue Books', which have been published annually for the past seven years in collaboration with the Social Sciences Academic Press (China). In 2016, CCG also released China Goes Global: How China's Overseas Investment is Transforming Its Business Enterprises as a part of the 'Asia Business Series' by Palgrave Macmillan. This publication features a foreword by Mr. Long Yongtu, Chairman of CCG's Strategic Advisory Board and former chief negotiator for China's entry into the WTO.

For years, CCG has diligently monitored and researched the globalization of Chinese enterprises, hosting numerous forums, seminars, roundtable discussions, and similar events on a yearly basis. These gatherings are dedicated to exploring pertinent topics concerning enterprise globalization, including the Belt and Road Initiative, Sino-US trade relations, and trends in global value chains. Distinguished political and business scholars with substantial research and practical experience both domestically and internationally are regularly invited to participate in these discussions. Through these collaborative efforts, CCG actively seeks innovative pathways for advancing enterprise globalization.
