Forum Introduction
The global drive toward carbon peaking and carbon neutrality is reshaping industries worldwide, while the green transition is opening up trillion-dollar growth opportunities. According to LinkedIn’s latest Global Green Skills Report 2025, demand for green talent is growing twice as fast as the supply of workers with green skills, highlighting a significant imbalance between supply and demand.
Against this backdrop, the Green Talent Parallel Forum will be jointly hosted by the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations (AGTO) and the Center for China and Globalization (CCG). Under the theme “Green Talent Competitiveness in the AI Era: Green Skills and Green Leadership,” the forum will explore how AI can serve as an accelerator and how cross-sector collaboration can provide a pathway to implementation. It aims to advance the green transition from investment in technologies and infrastructure alone toward coordinated investment in both people and technology; from technology-driven development toward talent-driven development; and from fragmented, siloed initiatives toward ecosystem-based collaboration.
