Greetings!
China’s first administrative regulation dedicated to outbound investment, the State Council Regulation on Outbound Investment, took effect on 1 July 2026. Against the changing landscape of China–US, China–Europe and Global South economic and trade cooperation, there is an urgent need to bring together relevant government departments, trade and economic experts, and representatives of globally active companies. The conference will provide a forum for interpreting the new rules, gathering business perspectives, facilitating cooperation and supporting responsible overseas investment.
Drawing on the international reach of a world-leading think tank and years of research on globalization, the 2026 China Inbound-Outbound Forum will connect international and domestic stakeholders, convene leaders from government, business and academia, and create a high-level platform through which Chinese companies can access global opportunities and expand international cooperation.
The 2026 China Inbound-Outbound Forum is hosted by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), with the China Association of International Trade (CAIT), the China Society for World Trade Organization Studies (CWTO), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) as co-organizers.
It will be held in Beijing CBD on 17 October 2026. We cordially invite you to attend the conference and join a closed-door exchange dinner with former senior officials of the Ministry of Commerce, ambassadors to China, representatives of international organizations and entrepreneurs leading international expansion.
Building on CCG’s extensive international network and twelve consecutive editions of the China Inbound-Outbound Forum, the conference will convene entrepreneurs and representatives of globalizing companies, leaders of international organizations and business associations, established companies, and experts in artificial intelligence and green development. The programme includes an opening ceremony, keynote addresses, a special session featuring prominent globalizing entrepreneurs, six industry and regional forums, and two high-level closed-door events. Participants will dine with diplomats from more than 60 countries, including ambassadors from 30 countries. In the presence of ambassadors and conference guests, three authoritative recommendation lists will also be announced: Chinese Globalizing Enterprises, Service Companies Supporting Chinese Global Expansion, and Emerging Young Business Leaders in Global Expansion.

Jointly organized by CCG and embassies of Middle Eastern and North African countries in China, this official regional forum focuses on deeper cooperation and opportunities in Gulf and North African markets. It will align economic-transformation strategies in the region with the capabilities of Chinese companies, covering two-way investment, industrial capacity, trade upgrading and infrastructure cooperation.
