Below are CCG leader’s recent activities in the past week.
On October 21, 2025, Henry Huiyao Wang, CCG Founder and President, attended a welcome dinner hosted by Jürg Burri, Swiss Ambassador to China, for Ambassador Markus Leitner, Assistant State Secretary for Asia-Pacific at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. Ambassadors from Portugal, Austria, Greece, Romania, Croatia, and Albania also attended.
On October 22, 2025, Selçuk Ünal, Ambassador of Türkiye to China, visited CCG’s Beijing Academy and met with Henry Huiyao Wang and Zichen Wang, Research Fellow and Director of International Communications.
On October 23, 2025, Henry Huiyao Wang attended a dinner in Beijing hosted by Kenji Kanasugi, Japanese Ambassador to China. Ambassadors from Croatia, Egypt, Fiji, Greece, Mongolia, and Vietnam were among the guests.
On October 23, 2025, Karen Kennedy, Minister Counsellor (Commercial & Economic), and Ian Medcalf, Counsellor for Trade Policy from the Embassy of Canada, visited CCG’s Beijing Academy and met with Henry Huiyao Wang.
On October 24, 2025, Henry Huiyao Wang attended the Indonesia–China Business Forum in Beijing and met with Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of Indonesia to China.
On October 25, 2025, Henry Huiyao Wang attended the conference marking the 80th anniversary of Taiwan’s restoration, held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Wang Huning, a senior Chinese leader, chaired the meeting.
On October 28, 2025, on the eve of the Paris Peace Forum, Henry Huiyao Wang joined the “10-10-10 Dinners” in Paris, an event co-hosted by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Devex, and the Paris Peace Forum.
On October 29, 2025, Henry Huiyao Wang attended the 8th Paris Peace Forum in Paris and spoke at the session “UN at 80: From Mission to Action.”
Henry Huiyao Wang appeared on Al Jazeera on October 23 and 29, 2025, to discuss China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and rare earth minerals, respectively.
Henry Huiyao Wang was interviewed by BBC News on the Busan summit, highlighting a shift toward “strategic stability.”
Henry Huiyao Wang appeared on CGTN to discuss next steps in China–U.S. ties following the Busan summit.
Henry Huiyao Wang joined Sky News to comment on prospects for a “new chapter” in bilateral relations.
