CCG at Boao Forum for Asia
Roundtables on women, youth, global governance, and a one-on-one dialogue with Kishore Mahbubani.
The 2025 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference was held in Boao, Hainan, from March 25 to 28, with the theme of “Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future.”
The Center for China & Globalization (CCG), as a partner of the forum, co-organised a roundtable themed “Imagination and Innovation: A Sustainable Future Led by Youth” and the Women’s Roundtable. It also participated in several panels including “Inclusive Globalization that Benefits All: Paths and Actions,” “Global Governance after the UN Summit of the Future.”
On March 27, Henry Huiyao Wang engaged in a one-on-one dialogue with Kishore Mahbubani, Distinguished Fellow at the Asia Research Institute of the National University of Singapore and Former Singapore’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
On March 26, CCG President Henry Huiyao Wang moderated a seminar titled “Inclusive Globalization that Benefits All: Paths and Actions.”

On March 26, 2025, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration, CCG partnered with the BFA to jointly host the Women’s Roundtable. Sima Sami Bahous, the UN Women Executive Director, delivered a keynote speech for the roundtable, while Jenny Shipley, former Prime Minister of New Zealand, served as the moderator. Mabel Lu Miao, Secretary-General of CCG and Founder of the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) program, also attended.
